I took the TESOL course in Spring 2016 during my final year of university. I wanted to teach abroad so signing up for TESOL was a no-brainer when I saw it promoted at my university. The TESOL course gave me all the tools I needed to be comfortable and confident in my teaching. With TESOL’s help I was able to get in touch with a job agent and then signed with a company to start teaching in China in the fall of that year. I am thankful for TESOL’s help and have been teaching in China with the same company and at the same school for 7 years now and I couldn’t be happier. Having the kind and supportive people at TESOL helping me find a job, made me feel less pressure and safe knowing I had expert people I could trust. I feel more appreciated at my job compared to any other job I have had before; it is a wonderful experience whether you want to give it a try for a short period of time or considering it to become your career.
